Originally inspired from Peter Brown's 2008 sketch of a robot in a tree, his imagination about a robot in the wilderness caused extensive research and development,
into the first book of a series that was published in 2016 and now includes a 2024 DreamWorks animated movie directed by Chris Sanders.
